Thank you! It's been a great week and we appreciate your flexibility, kindness and positivity all week. Here are a couple important reminders.
1. No school Friday 10/9. It is a state in-service day for Staff
2. If your student is arriving after 8:05, we'll have them come in the front door to check in.
3. If your student is ill, we ask that you have them stay home. If you have questions, call the main office before sending them.

5. Students should bring a personal use water bottle. Our water fountains will be bottle fill only.

We are so excited to have our Kindergarten - 3rd grade students back with us starting on October 5th! Hours are from 8am-1pm. We encourage all families to transport their children if they are able. Busing is available for those who need it. If you want your student riding the bus, you must fill out the forms on our website and return those to the office here at Island City Elementary or to Mid Columbia Bus Co. All kids 18 and under eat free under a Seamless Summer Option! La Grande School District will be providing meals for children under the age of 18. Lunch can be picked up at any of our elementary schools from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
